This dam is located in a picturesque valley between Kopřivnica and the village of Hukvaldy. It covers an area of ​​20 hectares with a maximum depth of 13.5 meters. The initial goal was to accumulate water for the TATRA area, which still uses it as operational water to supply the company.

This water structure extends on the Svěcený stream and is a popular recreational spot for the public. On the shore there is a landscaped beach surrounded by greenery. In addition, there is the possibility of fishing, which makes the place ideal for lovers of nature and peace.

In summer, it is possible to rent boats and water pedal boats. There is a seasonal restaurant by the water reservoir for refreshments, and for the little ones there is a playground near the dam.

The Větřkovice triathlon race is held here every year.
