Cultural monument no. 13091 / 8-3356

Sandstone plaque set between the corbels of the three-bay bay window of the house No. 10 on 28 October Street.

In a massive wreath held on the sides by two wild men - warriors of the emblem - in a pinnacle shield from a laid-off severed oak branch, three acorns and three leaves grow alternately on the stem, in the upper corners of the shield the initials P S; pinnacle helm with coverings, without jewel.

The owner of the burgher's house No. 10 was Petr Scheitenhauer of Fulnek, a prominent New Bohemian burgher from 1583, who rebuilt and enlarged the whole house in the same year. In 1562, 1570 and 1576, he also held the office of mayor. The Scheitenhauers sold the house when they bought a new house in 1602 on the Nový Jičín square.
