Tourist information center Of Nový Jičín

The village, formerly known as "Little Vienna", offers visitors many historical sights. These include the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, built on the site of a wooden church that burned down. In front of the entrance stands a stone cross from 1822, which is a testimony to the Baroque tradition still alive at that time. The chateau from 1728 is also Baroque. It is surrounded by a chateau park with ornamental and exotic trees, including black pine and plane trees.

The meanders of the Old Odry are a natural monument. The rest of the original riverbed is an unusual and original natural formation belonging to the Poodří Protected Landscape Area. In Jeseník nad Odra there is a mineral spring called Jesenická kyselka, which is free to drink.

There are also opportunities for sporting activities in the form of the Odersko cycling route, which is connected to the Moravská brána long-distance route. The local part of Hůrka offers suitable conditions for sailing sports.
