In the village of Vražné, which is located in the Moravian Gate and is bordered by the Odra River in the northeast, you can visit memorial crosses and chapels. You can visit, for example, the sandstone statue of St. John of Nepomuk dating from 1707, which is a cultural monument. Another cultural monument stands at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul and is the Cross of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
It is interesting to note that the most famous native of the area, Johann Gregor Mendel, the world-famous founder of genetics, was baptised in the church. His birth house in the local part of Hynčice, located in the historical territory of Silesia, was reconstructed between 2003 and 2007 as a visitor centre of the Moravian Kravaře region. This cultural monument, registered as a peasant farm, includes a museum exhibition, an exhibition gallery and public spaces. It can accommodate up to 45 people. The building is included in the Cyclists Welcome cycling network.
