F Döpper was an entrepreneur from Nový Jičín, an industrialist in the wool and leather industry. As the first in Nový Jičín he introduced the machine production of cloth. F. Döpper bequeathed two thousand gold coins to the town for building and running an institution for the elderly and sick. The Hosh family, together with the family of August Döpper, constituted the Spločen elite of Nové Jičín during the 19th century.
