Another place worth visiting is the town of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, situated in the heart of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy and Vsetín Hills. It was first mentioned in 1267. The centre of the town is Masaryk Square with the town hall, in the centre of which stands a fountain and a statue of President Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. You can also see the Baroque statues of St. John of Nepomuk and St. Florian.

The main tourist attraction is the Wallachian Museum in Nature, declared a national cultural monument. The largest open-air museum in Central Europe was founded in 1925 and includes three areas - the Wooden Town, the Mill Valley and the Wallachian Valley. You can not only see them, but also visit events focused mainly on folklore and folk crafts, which are held here most of the year.

One of the landmarks of the Wooden Town is the Church of St. Anne. It is surrounded by a cemetery of important personalities called the Wallachian Slavin. You can refresh yourself in the pubs Vaškova and Na Posledni groši. On the nearby Charles Hill you can climb the stylish Jurkovič tower, also built of wood.

The most important religious monument in the town is the Baroque Church of All Saints, built between 1748 and 1752. Rožnov pod Radhoštěm also offers plenty of opportunities for sports - cycle paths, skiing trails and in the Bučiska district, ski jumps.
