The village of Rybí, formerly Rybník (Reimlich in German texts), is a valley village below the southern slope of Libhošt' Hůrka and the northeastern slopes of Holivák, 5.5 km east of Nový Jičín.
Roads leading to Nový Jičín, Kopřivnice and Štramberk pass through the village in three directions. Its location in the Podradhošt' hilly area invites to hiking through a very varied landscape offering views of the Moravian Gate, Jeseníky, Ostrava, Hostýnské vrchy and Beskydy. Rybí is part of the Podbeskydí Nature Park. There are 58 significant landscape elements registered in its cadastre.
FotbalGolf course
The FotbalGolf course in Rybí is set in the beautiful countryside near Kopřivnice, Nový Jičín and Štramberk.
Its parameters correspond to the rules of the World FootballGolf Association. It is an ideal place for sports and social gatherings of individuals, families, groups of friends and dating couples, it is also suitable for celebrations and corporate events.
As the name suggests, FotbalGolf combines elements of the world's popular sports - football, golf and mini-golf. The technical and competitive game will entertain representatives of all ages.
